Sandrine Espeillac is a food engineer and a specialist in issues related to the food industry (food safety, quality, nutrition, sustainable development, etc.).
She currently heads the food and health divisions at Afnor Normalisation.
She has chaired several Afnor standardization committees focused on analytical methods.
Before joining Afnor, she worked as a consultant for the food industry.
Sandrine Espeillac is deeply involved in international activities. She has served as secretary for several ISO committees. She is the ISO delegation head in international intergovernmental organizations such as the Codex Alimentarius and the World Health Organization (WHO). She has also led international technical cooperation missions in Africa, South America, and Asia.
She is a member of the National Food Council (CNA) and teaches at various schools and universities: AgroParisTech, Jussieu, Institut Agro Dijon, and the University of Paris-Est Créteil.
She regularly serves as a speaker or moderator at numerous international conferences (workshops, One Health Summit, etc.) and French events (BIPEA, bioMérieux, Salon de l’Agriculture, National Assembly, Senate, etc.)
