FOOD Risk is pleased to announce that its 2026 edition will be held in an exceptional venue: the brand-new h2 Convention Center, in the heart of the city of Nîmes.
Opening at the end of 2025, h2 represents a new generation of event venues, combining innovation, accessibility, sustainability, and culture in an iconic neighborhood. Located opposite the Musée de la Romanité and a few steps from the famous Arènes, this modern center offers an inspiring environment, ideal for welcoming the FOOD Risk community.
A venue designed for exchange and innovation
With its bold architecture, bright and modular spaces, 18 meeting rooms, and 672-seat auditorium, h2 is the perfect setting to bring together researchers, experts, professionals, and stakeholders in the agri-food sector to discuss food risk issues.
The h2 Congress Center, certified “Bâtiment Durable Occitanie” (Occitanie Sustainable Building) and BREEAM, also commits FOOD Risk to a responsible approach, in line with the values promoted by the event.
A strategic location in the heart of the South
Nîmes enjoys remarkable accessibility:
- 5 minutes’ walk from the Nîmes Centre TGV station
- Less than 3 hours from Paris, 1 hour 20 minutes from Lyon, 35 minutes from Montpellier Méditerranée Airport
- +1000 rooms in the city center in the immediate vicinity
Participants will enjoy an exceptional setting combining Roman heritage, vibrant culture, and the Mediterranean way of life.
A choice of venue that reinforces FOOD Risk’s ambition
By hosting the event at the h2 Convention Center, FOOD Risk is confirming its ambition: to create a major, unifying and forward-looking event in a venue designed to facilitate exchanges, stimulate innovation and host the major professional meetings of tomorrow.
