General terms and conditions of sale

1. Purpose and scope of the present General Terms and Conditions of Sale

Theses general terms and conditions of sale are applicable to all conferences organized by Phytocontrol.

All purchases of tickets for a conference imply full acceptance by the buyer (hereinafter the Client) and their full and complete agreement to these General Terms and Conditions of Sale. A purchase made by the Client consequently involves the unconditional acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale. The present General Terms and Conditions of Sales may be modified at any time and without prior notice from the company. Changes will then only be applicable to orders placed after updates have been made. These General Terms and Conditions of Sale can be accessed at any time from the website foodrisk.eu

2. Absence of right of withdrawal

In accordance with article L 121-21-8 of the French Consumer Code, tickets to the symposium are not subject to a right of withdrawal.

3.  Availability of places

Phytocontrol has allocated a limited number of 400 places.
Purchases are made in real time. When buying tickets online, you will be informed of ticket availability in real time.

4. Prices

The ticket price is stated in euros excluding VAT.
Depending on the event, fees may be added to the ticket price. These will be indicated during the purchasing process. 

Phytocontrol reserves the right to make changes to prices at any time.
Tickets cannot be re-sold. In this regard, you are reminded that, in application of the provisions of article L.313-6-2 of the French Criminal Code, “the sale, offer of sale or display in view of a sale or transfer or provision of funds in view of the sale or transfer of access passes to a sports, cultural or commercial event or a live show, habitually and without the consent of the producer, organizer or owner of the licensing rights of the event or show, is punishable by a fine of €15,000. This penalty is increased to €30,000 in the event of repeat offences. ” An access pass, within the meaning of the law, includes “any ticket, document, message or code, in any form or medium, attesting to the procurement from the producer, organizer or owner of the licensing rights to attend the event or show. ” 

5. Payment methods and security

Tickets are paid for via a secure payment method using a data encryption procedure to avoid interception of this information by a third party, by bank card via a secure online payment platform.

After payment, the Client will receive an order confirmation email with the invoice attached.

Phytocontrol cannot be held liable in the event of fraudulent use of the payment methods chosen. In accordance with the regulations in force, the Client’s bank details are not saved by Phytocontrol.

6. Delivery

The Client will receive a second email containing the ticket to be printed and presented at the event in question.

7. Limits of liability

7.1. Modification or cancellation of an event and refund

In the event that the time or location of the event is changed (eg. if the hall is flooded), Phytocontrol will inform you of this by an email sent to the email address provided during purchase.
You will also find all of the information you need concerning changes affecting the event on the website (foodrisk.eu) and our Facebook page (Laboratoire Phytocontrol).

In all cases and in light in particular of the uncertainties linked to electronic messaging, Phytocontrol cannot guarantee reception of emails. Consequently, Phytocontrol recommends that, in the 24 hours preceding the event, you check that it will still take place without any changes by logging on to our website (foodrisk.eu) and Facebook page (Laboratoire Phytocontrol).

In the event of cancellation or postponement, Phytocontrol will inform you of this by an email sent to the address provided during purchase and we will provide you with a refund. Refunds are made based on the price of the ticket, by bank transfer to the account of the bank card used during payment. 

Outside of the conditions described below, bookings cannot be cancelled.

Tickets cannot be refunded, even in the case of loss or theft. Tickets can be neither returned nor exchanged.

7.2 Personal data
The Client is hereby informed, in accordance with the French Law of 6 January 1978 on Data Protection, that personal data concerning the Client which is collected during their purchase, is used for managing and processing the purchase. Their email address will enable them to be informed of new events organized by Phytocontrol.

In accordance with the provisions of the French Law of 6 January 1978, the Client has the right to access, rectify and, where applicable, delete the data concerning them. This right can be exercised with Phytocontrol, by email or phone.

7.3 Internet-related constraints

Woocommerce is subject to internet-related constraints

You hereby certify that you fully understand the characteristics and limitations of the internet network, through which Phytocontrol makes available the website and space “woocommerce”. 
You therefore recognize that data transfers on the internet benefit only from relative technical reliability, as they circulate on heterogeneous networks with varying technical capacities and characteristics, which can be saturated at certain periods of the day; the data circulating on the internet is not protected against any diversions, and information sent may be intercepted and it is impossible to control any use which could be carried out by third parties on the internet. 
Consequently, Phytocontrol cannot be held liable for any of the facts or events described above. Phytocontrol is released of all responsibility in the event of force majeure, notably including malfunctions of the internet network, telephone lines or reception equipment, preventing or interrupting use of the Website.

8. Client obligations

By making a purchase on foodrisk.eu, you agree to respect the provisions of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale applicable at the time of your purchase. 
You are responsible for all of the data you provide directly on the Website.

9. Applicable law 

All of the clauses of these general terms and conditions of sales, as well as all related purchase and sale operations will be subject to French law.

In the event of disputes, the French courts will have sole jurisdiction.
