Route

After studying physics and mathematics at Paris VII University, Jérôme Bonaldi chose journalism and enrolled at the Centre de Formation des Journalistes (Journalism Training Centre). He graduated in 1976 and immediately joined France Inter, where he remained until 1984 before being hired by Canal+, where he became a commentator on the programme “Nulle part ailleurs” (Nowhere Else). It was this latter role that brought him to the attention of the public.

In 2000, Jérôme Bonaldi joined Europe 1 and Ruquier’s team on the programme “On va s’gêner” and appeared on France 2 in “On a tout essayé” and then “On a tout révisé”. On the same channel, he co-presented the programme “On vous dit pourquoi” in 2002, then “Savoir + sciences” until 2006.

En 2007, il anime l’émission « Du côté des pros » sur la chaîne Maison+ (anciennement Télé Maison). In 2007–2008, he also took part in the programme Gildas&Co on the cable channel Vivolta. In 2009, he presented the programme Je commence demain (in partnership with Pôle Emploi) on France 2, where he presented and tried out different jobs.

In September 2010, he presented “C’est dans ma nature” on the regional channels of France 3. Broadcast on Saturdays at 11 a.m., this programme focuses on ecology and sustainable development. Based on the model of “Question maison”, it presents ecological and innovative buildings, surrounded by their owners.

From 12 February 2012, he presented “Le Mag de la science” on the Encyclo channel, which became Science et Vie TV on 30 March 2015. In 2013, he presented several episodes of “Transportez-moi” on LCP, a programme about transport. From January 2014 to March 2014, he participated in Laurent Ruquier’s “L’Émission pour tous” on France 2. In 2014, following the end of the radio show “On va s’gêner”, and unlike many of the show’s commentators, he did not follow Laurent Ruquier to RTL but remained on Europe 1 with Cyril Hanouna in “Les Pieds dans le plat”. He participated in this programme from the start of the 2014 season until November of the same year. In 2019, he joined M6, where he co-hosts the programme Mon invention vaut de l’or (My invention is worth its weight in gold).
